Channel Permissions Owners and Members
We are currently trialling Stream as a submission platform for students' video work. We have set up a Group for the entire year level, then created separate channels for each class. All students have access to all Channels as there are not individual permissions/invitations we can set up for this (which is disappointing but we can work around that for now). In the future it would be helpful to invite only certain people to certain Channels.
Despite the current level of permissions, students have been able to change the Channel name and Channel image without being "owners". Their permissions are…

Allow users of Snagit & Camtasia to upload directly to Stream
Right now, we have a one-click option in TechSmith's SnagIt and Camtasia to upload to their own streaming site or YouTube -- it would be convenient (and appropriate) to be able to upload it into our Stream site.

Tell me if I've already watched a video
Internal videos get shared around all the time in Yammer, Teams, Company Communication emails, etc. and I'm not sure if I have already watched it before without skimming through the video to refresh my mind. It would be beneficial to see a message on the video stating that I watched this video on xx/xx/xxxx date.

Allow optional sorting of videos in a channel
Sometimes videos need to be viewed in a specific order initially. For example, five training videos might build on each other so that watching #3 before #1 will not make sense to viewers.

Allow AD groups to be used when granting access
With Office 365 Video, we could assign AD groups in the permissions. We were wanting the ability to add Office 365 groups to Video. With Stream, we can create an Office 365 group for a Stream channel, but we cannot use AD groups.

Allow users to be able to join Groups in Stream.
Please consider allowing Office 365 users to join Groups in Stream themselves. With a company with more then 3000 users, its not feasible to request admins to invite hundreds of people to their group. Thank you.

Deep analytics
Our communications and training departments really need the deeper analytics that was previously available in SharePoint Video.
It would also be great to have information about the user displayed (in aggregate) such as dept, location, etc. Since this is O365 all that information should be available with AAD.55 votes -

Approval workflow before publishing video
I some situations, like internal training videos, it could be very helpful to upload the video to a specific channel and to get an approval of a second person before the video is finally published. We save time by having to map the process in a different tool and we could use the viewing features of Stream.
