Video editor (for name/description/language/permissions/options) needs to allow bulk operations
It is extremely tedious and time consuming to manage hundreds of video permissions individually, along with description/language/options/etc. We need a bulk video editor feature to be up to standards with other video streaming platforms.
As it exists today, it is only possible to "edit" 1 video at a time. This does not satisfy the needs our of company.

Provide option to get URL for playback (and end, if possible!) at specific time
When you right-click a YouTube video, one of the options is "Copy video URL at current time". You can then share that link, and the person clicking it will begin watching the video at that specific time marker. If this exists in Stream, I can't find it, so I would need to tell the link recipient to click manually with the scrubbing control, estimating the position for a given mm:ss time.
It would be great if the Stream video UI (right click or other control) would provide an option to copy the video URL with playback starting at that particular…

Connection Close Logging
Add connection close details to the Teams meeting session debug information. You cannot tell or at least easily discern if it was a connection drop/timeout or they clicked 'leave'. At least some evidence of a BYE or equivalent should be floating around at the end of an intentionally terminated connection.

reverse the explict/whole organisation video permissions
The implementation of explicit permissions or "visible to whole organisation" should be reversed, so that it follows the documentation - ie. that "whole organisation" makes the video available to everyone, regardless of other permissions set. This will allow a small group to maintain permissions to video and to make them available to the organisation without having to delete the explicit permissions. I can't see a single use case for it's current configuration, which while labeled as a "conflict" is also labeled "as designed"... the two don't go together

Time Stamp
I would like a time stamp on videos to know the time the meeting started and know what time students turn off their cameras during a test to monitor cheating.

I need to see all student windows when recording a live meeting.
Can you please make the large view appear when the recording is happening?

Please remove 15 minute screen recording limitation
As of right now I can only screen record for 15 measly minutes. I have large conferences and see the potential with this app but I cannot consider it, until this restriction is removed.

Allow longer names to be seen in "Viewers"
Some of our group names are quite long and this causes issues when allocating permissions to groups in Stream. It is not possible to view the complete name in the list of 'Viewers' and there is no way to expand the column to view the full name. We either need more characters to be shown, or the ability to widen the column.

Allow Stream videos to play in Safari without needing to turn off "Prevent cross-site tracking"
Embedded Stream videos generate an error in Safari:
"It looks like there’s a problem
A setting in your browser is blocking cookies. Please disable this setting or open in a new window."
The only workaround is to go to Preferences > Privacy and uncheck the Prevent cross-site tracking setting.
More details here:

Make stream uservoice look more professionally credible looking!
I had to do some search if this is actually an official feedback forum for MS Stream, either created by Microsoft or at least monitored/endorsed by MS, as it just looks too basic and has no about information on it, compared to the Teams uservoice at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com
Just spend a few minutes to upload a branded image and provide some basic information that people know this is the right place and feedback will be reviewed/considered.
I did find the official doc that points to this place here but
most won't check that. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/send-feedback1 vote -

Allow users to adjust the playback speed when viewing recorded meetings.
At present, meeting recordings can only be played in Stream at the recorded speed. Allowing the option to increase or reduce the playback speed would be helpful for minute takers when listening to the content.

Block download
Add the option to block the download of a video. Sometimes our teachers request to block the download so the students can watch the video online but they can't download and distribute it.

playback speed
We need Faster playback speed,
though 2x is good, however, some speakers could allow us listen faster, 3x or higher speed options would be helpful
and sometimes, we just need to watch the content, not need listening,
Hence, faster speed is necessary, and helpful

autoplay video but muted
We'd like videos to autoplay with audio muted both on the Stream page and also when embedded in SharePoint Online pages. This is similar to how videos play in social media platforms.

Watermark with Dynamic information when playing a video using Stream
Streams makes a good job managing permissions to play videos.
There are occasions when information is spilled because someone using a smart phone or screen capture tool has captured part of a video that should not be shared.
My asking is to enable a feature that would allow the video owner to tell MS Stream to overlay a watermark when a video is played.
A possible solution could be a watermark string that has some dynamic markers. (ie, “confidential until May 13, Played by $User on $Date”.
Watermark formatting could also be embedded in the string. (i.e. $PosFooter, $PosHeader, $Transparency).1 vote
