  1. Provide the option of downloading the audio-portion of a Stream video only. This provides a mechanism to efficiently access the audio playback for compliance requirements that don't include video for storage in a document management system.

  3. The limit for videos on Stream is 1080p for non-live events and 720p for live ones. I think it is time to move it to 4K non-live and FullHD in livestreams

  4. Today it's possible to RTMP push the video from other sources to Live Events, mas the oposite is not possible.
We would like to have a Live Event that could also be viewed on other platforms like Youtube and Facebook.

  5. It would be nice if the URL could be shortened.

The FQDN of ther server actually has 81 characters.

It's not possible to use the VBRICK DME to RTMP push the video because the field only allow 80 characters

    Example:

    rtmp://eufi4x4dkm2wuwo7ye6dekqnub-zy4ajjnrzqreuocq5arnksrc3a-usea.channel.media.azure.net:1935/live/843d3338fe654383a87efb22c58cfd6d

  6. This feature was already created on technet.
We need to push a video from an external source to live streams.
The problem stream creates a new URL for every live event.
We neeed at least one fixed URL for each tenant.

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-stream-ideas/permanent-live-event-with-static-ingest-url/idc-p/1094527#M2121

It would be great to be possible to create a "Permanent Live Events" (with static ingest URL's). This feature could be called "Live Channels" or something like that.

This is userful to organizations that have some infrastracture of live stream with external codec and want to have a fixed channel to deliver content (like a traning channel ou…

  7. It would be great if the admins could assign retention periods to videos; or at least have an API to write a workflow to review videos for archival or deletion. Not my idea (orginal idea: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-stream-ideas/video-archival-and-retention/idi-p/88901) just adding it to user voice and casting my vote.

  8. We just migrated all our videos, and reorganised the platform with new groups and channels.
It was very tedious and a tremendous time loss not being able to select multiple videos and moving them to a specific group or channel. Having to move one by one to every channel is too much specially when you have over a 1000 videos to move.
But even further down the line, if I ever need to restructure some groups or channels it will be very helpful to have that multiple selection feature to move videos from one group to another with just a…

  9. Allow individual permissions per channel like O365 Video allowed for. We don't need a mailbox, calendar, site, etc. created every time we create a Stream Channel, but we do have numerous instances where only certain users should be able to see the content of the channel. The additional items from an O365 group are not needed at all and it would tremendously help if we could create a channel and set permissions without having to worry about additional things being created that won't be used (like a SP site, calendar, mailbox) etc.

  10. Currently managing permissions in Microsoft Stream is very time consuming and I have to constantly go in and out of each Stream video permission to change ownership. I would like an easier way of marking and changing permissions for multiple videos - both for ownership access as well as access to videos.

  12. Owners decide who Edit or Upload Videos and who could view them
Editors know how make a good video and they have not to decide who goes to see it. Only upload and update them
    Viewers would enjoy them.
So is configured in Office Video and I think so sould be in Stream ¿If you think so vote it?

  13. Very difficult to define a governance for wide company when you can do anything anywhere, especially for document management.... It would be very helpful to deploy the solution if each company can manage options for each tools for O365 groups, and not a ON/OFF option for the entire environment. For STREAM it's particularly important !

  14. Also a channel should have a spotlight carousel. The functionality can mimic how this works for groups.
Company wide public channels (not belonging to a Groups) will, most likely, be used exstensively. Spotlight would be excellent to promote specific content.

  16. It should be possible to transfer the original ownership of a video. Only the original owner that created the video get the video listed under "My content". This would support the scenario where you hand over responsibiliy for a video to someone else. Ideally both the original owner and the Stream admin should be able to perform this task.

  17. At present the maximum subtiltes/captions tracks per video is 20. In a global organisation this is not sufficient. We have several examples in our current solution with 20+ subtitle files.

  18. We would like the ability to set automatic pauses into a video at specific times. This is quite effective for training videos at intervals or after a significant piece of information. It encourages the viewer to go at their own pace, stopping to ensure they have taken it in before moving on. It can also be used to display written information or instructions at points in the video and not moving on until the viewer indicated they have finished reading.
Our training guys are reluctant to move on from older platforms until this can be done.
