Add spotlight carousel for channels
Also a channel should have a spotlight carousel. The functionality can mimic how this works for groups.
Company wide public channels (not belonging to a Groups) will, most likely, be used exstensively. Spotlight would be excellent to promote specific content.2 votes -

Transfer original ownership of a video
It should be possible to transfer the original ownership of a video. Only the original owner that created the video get the video listed under "My content". This would support the scenario where you hand over responsibiliy for a video to someone else. Ideally both the original owner and the Stream admin should be able to perform this task.

Increase max subtitle/captions tracks per video
At present the maximum subtiltes/captions tracks per video is 20. In a global organisation this is not sufficient. We have several examples in our current solution with 20+ subtitle files.

Add automatic pause into the timeline
We would like the ability to set automatic pauses into a video at specific times. This is quite effective for training videos at intervals or after a significant piece of information. It encourages the viewer to go at their own pace, stopping to ensure they have taken it in before moving on. It can also be used to display written information or instructions at points in the video and not moving on until the viewer indicated they have finished reading.
Our training guys are reluctant to move on from older platforms until this can be done.3 votes -

Give the ability to disable the "Trending Videos" view on the right hand side for certain videos or channels that you create.

List of shared videos
Add shared videos to a list within Stream (e.g. under My Content). At the moment, the only way I can access shared videos is to follow the email link. This is an arduous process when I am collecting 30+ videos for submission. Having them compiled in one list would streamline this process. Thank you.

Add interactivity functions
turn Stream, at least for academic licences, to be able to add interactivity such as quizzes, branching to different sections of the video based on answers, hyperinks, overlays, similar to an eLearning authoring tool.

Resume Playback from Any Device
When switching between different devices to watch a video (for example, from PC to mobile app), playback of that video should resume from whenever the user left.
In other words, Stream should remember till which point in the video the user has watched in one device, so that the user can resume from any other device.
This is similar to YouTube.

Support for terms which are part of a tag, but not the full tag name, e. g.:

Enable hyperlink in Stream video
We use Camtasia to make videos and add interactive hotspots and URL-links. They don't work when you upload mp4 to Stream.
We suggest that you add a feature to be able to click a hyperlink and also possibility to answer a form witch goes into MS Forms

Save Team recordings to the Team Streams account
When a Teams meeting has been recorded, it's been saved in the Streams account of the person who started the recording. When he/she leaves the organisation, the recording becomes inaccessible. Please save Team recordings to the/a Team Streams account

Since restream.io's api is available for all, can we get a native integration, so our meetings and conferences can stream to all of our social destinations if we have a special important guest or event?
I'm surprised no one has asked that before.

Actually, you can only comment a Live Event after it has ended. It would be nice to comment during the Live Event.

Allow option for displaying transcription with embedded video
When clicking on the embed option, having the option for the transcription below the video (displays alongside on Streams files) would be fantastic for added accessibility.
At present, I have to embed the video then send users a link to the original upload for transcript.
Having a 'display transcript' button could be added to the embed code and inserted into the iframe quite easily, giving users the option to include this.
