  1. Can you please make the large view appear when the recording is happening?
I need to see all of my students and record them during live tests to watch for cheating.

  2. Some of our group names are quite long and this causes issues when allocating permissions to groups in Stream. It is not possible to view the complete name in the list of 'Viewers' and there is no way to expand the column to view the full name. We either need more characters to be shown, or the ability to widen the column.

  3. 1) Show the webcam video on the actual selected screen

Otherwise one has to manually move it and also results in inconsistent formats being placed not always in the same spot.

    2) Circle/Round Camera Format / Recording Layouts

Because takes up less space, less interfering with background and looks more fresh than square or widescreen format. All three should be an option.

Ideally using layouts, so that placement can be easily selected,
Left vs Right vs Upper vs Lower corner of the screen.

    3) Longer Timer Than 3 seconds! (optional setting e.g. 3, 5, 10 secs)
    To prepare and switch…

  4. I had to do some search if this is actually an official feedback forum for MS Stream, either created by Microsoft or at least monitored/endorsed by MS, as it just looks too basic and has no about information on it, compared to the Teams uservoice at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com

Just spend a few minutes to upload a branded image and provide some basic information that people know this is the right place and feedback will be reviewed/considered.

I did find the official doc that points to this place here but
    most won't check that. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/send-feedback

  6. The video playing experience is very bad on Microsoft Stream. Right now I'm listening to my lectures only in audio mode. Please improve the video management system of the platform since ALL of our lectures are happening online here in Pakistan.

  7. We'd like to be able to autoplay videos that are in a watch list instead of having to go to the watch list to click and watch each video.

  9. As a user I need the ability to link recording on OneDrive to an existing Stream Channel.

With the move of Stream recordings from Teams meeting to OneDrive there is no longer an option to immediately link the recording to a Stream Channel. The user must first download and then upload the video to Stream in order to link to a Stream Channel.

  10. At present, meeting recordings can only be played in Stream at the recorded speed. Allowing the option to increase or reduce the playback speed would be helpful for minute takers when listening to the content.

  12. We'd like videos to autoplay with audio muted both on the Stream page and also when embedded in SharePoint Online pages. This is similar to how videos play in social media platforms.

  13. I would like to be able to upload a pre-recorded video and then have that content scheduled to broadcast on a future day/time? Is this possible? If so, how do I set it up?

  14. Streams makes a good job managing permissions to play videos.
There are occasions when information is spilled because someone using a smart phone or screen capture tool has captured part of a video that should not be shared.
My asking is to enable a feature that would allow the video owner to tell MS Stream to overlay a watermark when a video is played.
A possible solution could be a watermark string that has some dynamic markers. (ie, “confidential until May 13, Played by $User on $Date”.
Watermark formatting could also be embedded in the string. (i.e. $PosFooter, $PosHeader, $Transparency).

  15. I often have to assign permissions on a video to multiple groups or channels. Right now, the interface makes me perform a search for each one over and over again. If I had checkboxes, I could assign a video to multiple groups and channels without having to perform the search over and over again. C'mon people, checkboxes for places where I might be making multiple choices is UX 101!

  16. I am a teacher and each class is assigned to a group. I often have two or three of the same class and I have to create a channel for each instead of creating one channel for all of my sections of the same class. This greatly increases the number of mindless clicks

  17. Support audio descriptions in a video, i.e. text-to-speech solution that reads from a text file based on a certain time in a video, pause video if necessary while audio plays.

For example, in a live conference where a presenter is showing the audience a Powerpoint and not explaining a graph she is showing, a visually impaired person should be able to get information about what is shown in the video.

Could perhaps be solved by offering a second audio track on the video (+ pause video)

  18. When a video needs to be approved, it would be really nice if the people approving place some markers/locators (with time) in this video, so i could export them as a xml and import then in any editing software (Avid, Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve), and make any alteration needed. Frame.io is a tool that make this task, but i wonder if there is a tool in microsoft 365 that could do it.

  20. Many people would enable 3rd party cookies even if their browser had the option to allow them from specific domains.
Solution could be as simple as having a Sharepoint option on the share menu that used a sharepoint.com domain in the src.
