Set the default preferred language before loading the video
Users have to choose the subtitle language each time they play a video.
1. Load the preferred language depending of the local regional settings of the user

Allow students names to be alphabetical in Teams
Students are not currently alphabetical in the members page of Teams. There needs to be options for how to sort or at least just make it alphabetical. There seems to be no logic to the way it is currently organized which makes it difficult to find students.

Allow Stream videos to play in Safari without needing to turn off "Prevent cross-site tracking"
Embedded Stream videos generate an error in Safari:
"It looks like there’s a problem
A setting in your browser is blocking cookies. Please disable this setting or open in a new window."
The only workaround is to go to Preferences > Privacy and uncheck the Prevent cross-site tracking setting.

Re-enable automatic cloud recording of Teams meetings in Stream for A1/A1+
Message center message ID MC218985 indicates that as of today, automatic transfer of Teams meetings recordings to Stream will no longer exist for accounts with less than an A3 license plan. The auto-upload for A1/A1+ was one of the selling points for Teams as we moved away from Zoom... but now that plus is gone.

Add and curate external videos like youtube
The ability to curate videos from multiple sources to one channel is increasingly important to create effective learning content for groups. If we can add other public videos by reference to a stream, then we can use this as a platform to curate videos across various sources.
When adding a video, have an option to add an external video URL as the source (Youtube etc.).

Larger video player size
It would be helpful to have the option to make the video player larger.
I can do the default small size (can't see anyone's screen sharing details), or full screen (too big).
I don't want full screen because I can no longer multitask or switch windows easily. I prefer the video to fill the browser tab, instead of wasting all the white space.
Could we have a medium size that uses the browser screen size, without taking over my whole desktop in fullscreen mode?

Stream Video Embed Code for users of other systems
Allow the generation of embed code for videos, so they can be shared on other web pages and allow access for those users accessing those web pages, even if they dont have access to Stream on our tenant or permissions on the specific video on the tenant.
This is particularly important for granting access to videos for use with external courses for our university, where users will not have O365 accounts and for embedding videos on the learning management systems that we use for course materials.

Feature to view the end log of watching a stream in the unified audit log
Users who have watched the video in the stream can search, but do not know when the user stopped viewing the video.
If I know when you stopped viewing the video, it makes it easier for employees to appreciate the case of providing accounts to outsiders.

Edit videos in any location, to remove dead air, inappropriate conversations, etc.
Stream Videos need to have the ability to edit at any location in the video. We use Teams for Training and record our sessions, I need to have the ability to remove dead air, inappropriate or "sidebars" out of the video.

Looking for the inventory and usage of the videos in the Stream in order to manage and administer in tenant level. There is no way to pull these details for the videos in the tenant level.
- All videos uploaded along with size, Owner, channel, etc details
- Permission of each videos
- Usage Trends, ie, who all watched, when , how many views

Metadata migration
We want to be able to update the metadata of a video imported into Stream (at least #views, #likes) allowing us to progressively take over the stock of our old videos and reintegrate them into Stream! The most common data we need is: User, Duration of view, Views, Shares, Likes, Video Description, Video length, Publisher, Last update, Language, Category, URL, Channel and Private/Public.

Filters and search bar for groups
We have thousands of groups in the Stream portal and we have no way to simply search for them, the groups in discover per example are flooded. We would need a search bar like the one for the channel search. There is another problem related to the same research difficulties. We need a way to filter groups in the portal. We end up with thousands of empty and unused groups. Add collaborators easily in Stream videos "permissions-people" section
On the subject of permissions in the videos, we identified a difficulty in authorising large groups of people. Indeed, the authorizations of a video work by group, channel and people. Enable a sharing option to allow me to control if the video opens in a new window
Enable a video sharing option/attribute that allows me to specify if the video opens in a new browser window or the current browser window.
This is separate from the full screen attribute which is already an option.
