Skip ahead or back
Add an option for skipping ahead or back by some short interval such as 15 or 30 seconds. Rather than trying to drag the progress bar forward or back, being able to quickly move in one direction or the other would be nice.

Retain timestamp hyperlinks in updated version of Stream
In order to support sharing video guidance for processes, I benefit greatly from being able to send a video starting at a specific timestamp with others. I have not found a way to do that in the new version of Stream that is within SharePoint/OneDrive. It's very useful to allow people to click to certain parts of the video for this video guidance.

Allow video creator a list of people who have viewed the video
It would be helpful to know who has views the video I have created. In the education setting, this allows me to track participation and know how is missing out on critical content delivered asynchronously.

Option to specify a video author
In some circumstances we bulk upload videos on behalf of others. Is it possible to add a field for Author and we can specify a profile, or profiles, from Azure AD; or a free-text entry for external presenters?

restream.io integration
Since restream.io's api is available for all, can we get a native integration, so our meetings and conferences can stream to all of our social destinations if we have a special important guest or event?
I'm surprised no one has asked that before.

Add automatic pause into the timeline
We would like the ability to set automatic pauses into a video at specific times. This is quite effective for training videos at intervals or after a significant piece of information. It encourages the viewer to go at their own pace, stopping to ensure they have taken it in before moving on. It can also be used to display written information or instructions at points in the video and not moving on until the viewer indicated they have finished reading.
Our training guys are reluctant to move on from older platforms until this can be done.3 votes -

For steady content creation, the option to stack up a few videos set to publish on specific dates would be useful automated functionality.

Add existing Channel to a group.
today you can link channels to groups to show up in the videos section of a group. BUT if I am in the group and go to channel nothing shows. I see I can add a NEW Channel under a the group but I already have the channel created.
When a video is associated with a group the channel should also show up under channels.

Teems Meeting Stream self destruct folder
According to the AVG (GPDR) legislation, you are not allowed to record students. during a distance learning meeting, as a teacher you sometimes make recordings of the given lesson. This should therefore no longer be allowed at all. A recorded lesson can be very valuable.
What if a Stream meeting recording now comes standard in a self-destruction folder. After 7 days it is always emptied.
If there is a recording without students, you can then move it as a user. The responsibility is then the same with this user.

Allow full functionality of Whiteboard when using screen recording in Microsoft Stream e.g. accessing different coloured pens
The new screen recording is excellent, but it's not allowing full functionality of Microsoft Board when recording e.g. accessing different coloured pens etc.

Indonesian language transcription support
Please provide transcribing and subtitle support for Indonesian. Very limited language support compare with Gsuite or cloud, quickly rollout other language support, not just in stream but other Microsoft product to empower every person in the planet that do not use English.

In the Company-Wide Channels, Organize/Show Groups
In a Company-Wide Channel, it is hard to find the Groups. Would like the Groups to be easily found.

Increase maximum file size
Now that OneDrive offers 100 GB file size limit (up from 15 GB), Stream should match or exceed that.

do not autoplay
I am using Stream now that we are recording Teams meetings, and one thing that annoys me constantly is that the video auto plays when I load the screen.
Please stop it!

Apple TV app
Seeing as the iOS/iPadOS app version of Stream as been out for over a year now, Seems like an idea to add an App for the Apple TV, especially those that have Apple TV in the classroom for teachers it's easier to access.

Stream Video Embed Code for users of other systems
Allow the generation of embed code for videos, so they can be shared on other web pages and allow access for those users accessing those web pages, even if they dont have access to Stream on our tenant or permissions on the specific video on the tenant.
This is particularly important for granting access to videos for use with external courses for our university, where users will not have O365 accounts and for embedding videos on the learning management systems that we use for course materials.

Re-enable automatic cloud recording of Teams meetings in Stream for A1/A1+
Message center message ID MC218985 indicates that as of today, automatic transfer of Teams meetings recordings to Stream will no longer exist for accounts with less than an A3 license plan. The auto-upload for A1/A1+ was one of the selling points for Teams as we moved away from Zoom... but now that plus is gone.

Every user object in the directory is visible in Stream
If you browse 'People' in Stream, every single user object in AAD is visible, including unlicensed users, users with no primary email address, resource scheduling users (Bookings).
Please limit visible users to licensed users only.
