Allow users of Snagit & Camtasia to upload directly to Stream
Right now, we have a one-click option in TechSmith's SnagIt and Camtasia to upload to their own streaming site or YouTube -- it would be convenient (and appropriate) to be able to upload it into our Stream site.

Allow management of videos to replace with updates
Allow for replacement and/or updates of video files. Many times an existing video will require an update, but the existing link has been shared with 100s or 1000s of users and can't easily be replaced/re-communicated.
Allowing the video file to be updated reduces this disruption to media consumers.

Bulk download
In current design, you have to download videos from stream one video at a time , we would like to have the feature to export those videos in bulk by administrators.

Transfer original ownership of a video
It should be possible to transfer the original ownership of a video. Only the original owner that created the video get the video listed under "My content". This would support the scenario where you hand over responsibiliy for a video to someone else. Ideally both the original owner and the Stream admin should be able to perform this task.

Have embed links that work in Sharepoint without 3rd party cookies
Many people would enable 3rd party cookies even if their browser had the option to allow them from specific domains.
Solution could be as simple as having a Sharepoint option on the share menu that used a sharepoint.com domain in the src.22 votes -

We currently have multiple apps that use videos directly from the video portal. Please add an option to use Stream videos in PowerApps.

Sharepoint-like 'Request Access' form for MS Stream videos
A video link was shared to me, but the uploader has set restricted access to it. However, I cannot see who I can contact to request access to this video. At least in Sharepoint there is a form where access can be requested and it would be great to have a similar from for MS Stream.

Make it possible to add chapters to a stream in the same way as it works in mix now.
As Mix is closing we are no longer able to make videos with chapters. This feature should be added to stream

Add a configuration item to block downloads
As of this writing, video uploaders and owners can download a video to devices that may be unmanaged by an organization. Videos containing sensitive content may be further disseminated to unauthorized parties. Suggest including a configurable option for administrators to block the downloading of video content.

Save Team recordings to the Team Streams account
When a Teams meeting has been recorded, it's been saved in the Streams account of the person who started the recording. When he/she leaves the organisation, the recording becomes inaccessible. Please save Team recordings to the/a Team Streams account

Group Alpha Site Index plus Pagination buttons
Since everyone is having issues with searching Groups, why not have an alpha-site-index or at least pagination at the bottom. I knew the group was name OneUK, but I had to click on "Show More" about 30 times just to get to it. If there was site index at the top or bottom paginations buttons I could have easily found the group I was looking for.

Assign Stream admins
Allow to manage Stream admins with Roles, the same way like Admin Centers such as Exchange, Sharepoint, Teams, etc... Currently only Global Administrators or users with a Stream license are able to have access to Stream Admin settings.
This is frustrating because IT support users with admin roles need to have a license, in general those type of user do not tend to have Office 365 licenses or they need to be upgraded to Global admin so when you have over 30 IT support users it is not very secure.

Allow individual permissions per channel
Allow individual permissions per channel like O365 Video allowed for. We don't need a mailbox, calendar, site, etc. created every time we create a Stream Channel, but we do have numerous instances where only certain users should be able to see the content of the channel. The additional items from an O365 group are not needed at all and it would tremendously help if we could create a channel and set permissions without having to worry about additional things being created that won't be used (like a SP site, calendar, mailbox) etc.

Add the ability to change backgrounds while using the Record screen or video option.
We have members of our organization that rely on the "Record screen or video" capability on the Stream site since it allows them to quickly and easily record their screen and show their live camera feed. We would like to have the ability to change the camera background like you can today in Microsoft Teams with the background effects capability.

Add interactivity functions
turn Stream, at least for academic licences, to be able to add interactivity such as quizzes, branching to different sections of the video based on answers, hyperinks, overlays, similar to an eLearning authoring tool.

Microsoft Streamを利用する上で、チャネルごとの動画のアップロードの制限がないことで、誤った権限で動画が公開されてしまうことを懸念している。
特定ユーザーが誤って全ユーザーへ動画を公開しない為に、チャネルのメンバーのみ動画を視聴可能にし、かつ当該チャンネルに動画をアップロードできるユーザーを制限ができる設定があることによって、上記懸念を回避できると考えておりますので、機能の拡充を希望します。In using Microsoft Stream, there is a risk that videos will be published with the wrong visibility settings since there is no way to restrict the upload of videos on a per-channel basis.
If it was possible to only allow channel members to view videos, and restrict the users who can upload videos to that channel, it would be possible to avoid such issues, given that we don’t want specified users to accidentally publish videos to all users.16 votes -

Add one form with multiple questions to a Stream video
When adding multiple questions at different timestamps to a Stream video with interactivity, we now need to make multiple separate Forms. I would love to be able to have one Form related to one Stream video, so that different questions pop-up at different timestamps in the video.

Force Closed Captions on videos
Provide the ability to enable closed captions on videos automatically so users do not have to click the CC button to turn them on. This would be helpful in first line worker environments where they watch videos from systems on the manufacturing floor.
