Improve stream comments: add reply (with quote), @mention, rich text and inline images
The value of having enhanced comment handling (such as reply with quote, @mention, rich text and inline images) in Stream is the same for a stream comments as discussions in Teams, Yammer, etc.
As is, we have to manually copy/paste to quote someone and indicate the quoted text label. We can't emphasize content using bold, italic, color or font. these limitations make collaboration harder and communication less effective.

List of shared videos
Add shared videos to a list within Stream (e.g. under My Content). At the moment, the only way I can access shared videos is to follow the email link. This is an arduous process when I am collecting 30+ videos for submission. Having them compiled in one list would streamline this process. Thank you.

Ability to set/force expiration date
Need the ability to cleanup old videos. Admin/Users should be able to specify an expiration date on every video. Video would then move to recycle bin, where it would then be deleted 30 days later.

Groups should act as folders
Groups should allow videos to be "moved" to them acting as a folder, while the main video list acts as general storage. At the institution of higher education where I work, we employ Microsoft products, and I am currently attempting to find a way for faculty to use Teams and Stream to create and share videos. However, certain videos may only need to be shared with individual students for privacy purposes. Given the current function of Stream and the number of videos an instructor might produce over several semesters, having all videos store in one place will eventually make this…

Tell me if I've already watched a video
Internal videos get shared around all the time in Yammer, Teams, Company Communication emails, etc. and I'm not sure if I have already watched it before without skimming through the video to refresh my mind. It would be beneficial to see a message on the video stating that I watched this video on xx/xx/xxxx date.

Allow optional sorting of videos in a channel
Sometimes videos need to be viewed in a specific order initially. For example, five training videos might build on each other so that watching #3 before #1 will not make sense to viewers.

Link transcription to people/facial recognition
Whilst you can edit the transcript it would be good if you could link the transcript to the people speaking in the video/facial recognition and so the transcript automatically links to the speakers

Allow option for displaying transcription with embedded video
When clicking on the embed option, having the option for the transcription below the video (displays alongside on Streams files) would be fantastic for added accessibility.
At present, I have to embed the video then send users a link to the original upload for transcript.
Having a 'display transcript' button could be added to the embed code and inserted into the iframe quite easily, giving users the option to include this.

Please remove 15 minute screen recording limitation
As of right now I can only screen record for 15 measly minutes. I have large conferences and see the potential with this app but I cannot consider it, until this restriction is removed.

OneDrive Stream recording needs ability to link to Stream Channel
As a user I need the ability to link recording on OneDrive to an existing Stream Channel.
With the move of Stream recordings from Teams meeting to OneDrive there is no longer an option to immediately link the recording to a Stream Channel. The user must first download and then upload the video to Stream in order to link to a Stream Channel.

Knowledge-check Quiz
Please add the ability to insert a quiz into sections of the video. The use-case being a check-on-learning during a video. This way we can ensure viewers are actually paying attention to the video and not just playing then virtually walking away while it plays.
