  1. Add the capability to turn off recording in Stream Live Events

    Currently all Live Events are recorded and posted automatically. We'd like the ability to turn this off.

  2. Stop blocking right click so picture in picture works

    Picture on picture should work and you shouldn’t have to use dev tools to remove the context menu event handler to make it work

  3. 4K video support

    The limit for videos on Stream is 1080p for non-live events and 720p for live ones. I think it is time to move it to 4K non-live and FullHD in livestreams

  4. Create company policy for the amount of data an individual user can upload.

    I get an alert that my organizations space is running out, but I don't have the ability to control how much data a user can upload. If users had a limit they would be more likely to consider if uploading a video is necessary, delete videos that are no longer needed, and edit down videos that are too long.

  5. How do I view who has viewed my video's in stream.

    who has viewed my video's in stream. Currently, I can the number of view's, but not who actually viewed it.

  6. Feature to view the end log of watching a stream in the unified audit log

    Users who have watched the video in the stream can search, but do not know when the user stopped viewing the video.

    If I know when you stopped viewing the video, it makes it easier for employees to appreciate the case of providing accounts to outsiders.
    (Through the viewing start time, viewing end time, IP, user information)

  8. Dutch language transcription support

    Please add Dutch (Netherlands) language support to Stream as the use of M365 in NL is quite high I believe. This would be especially useful considering how much it is being used for working from home.

  9. Video approval markers tool - similar to frame.io

    When a video needs to be approved, it would be really nice if the people approving place some markers/locators (with time) in this video, so i could export them as a xml and import then in any editing software (Avid, Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve), and make any alteration needed. Frame.io is a tool that make this task, but i wonder if there is a tool in microsoft 365 that could do it.

  10. formatting

    Currently there is no formatting abilities in the description field when editing the video details. We would like to see the ability to bold, italicize, link and other simple formatting in the description. This would help with accessibility.

  12. Download audio transcripts in usable format

    Allowing transcripts (captions) to download in a usable format would be extremely helpful. And allowing us to download to a vtt file that we can't use is kind of a bait and switch--big disappointment.

    We do user experience test sessions and market research interviews where we need to go back and refer to what participants actually said and get pull quotes. It's a painstaking process to have to go back through each video.

    There are occasions when users of Microsoft Stream need to use a different language to other users under the same Tenant. There should be a way to set languages for users as an administrator.

    When I share a link to a Stream video in a chat or channel in Teams, would like to see a thumbnail, title and brief description instead of just the generic Stream logo.

  17. Add the speed option in the stream player

    We use MS stream to listen to lecture recording and we direly need the option for increasing speed. We suggest you, to add this feature in MS Stream.

  18. Allow AD groups to be used when granting access

    With Office 365 Video, we could assign AD groups in the permissions. We were wanting the ability to add Office 365 groups to Video. With Stream, we can create an Office 365 group for a Stream channel, but we cannot use AD groups.

  19. Channel Permissions Owners and Members

    We are currently trialling Stream as a submission platform for students' video work. We have set up a Group for the entire year level, then created separate channels for each class. All students have access to all Channels as there are not individual permissions/invitations we can set up for this (which is disappointing but we can work around that for now). In the future it would be helpful to invite only certain people to certain Channels.

  20. Enable hyperlink in Stream video

    We use Camtasia to make videos and add interactive hotspots and URL-links. They don't work when you upload mp4 to Stream.

    We suggest that you add a feature to be able to click a hyperlink and also possibility to answer a form witch goes into MS Forms
