Hi there, im teaching remotely in China via MS Teams and am limited with options, MS Stream is out since they're guests, youtube is a no go and O365 Video is retiring next year...guest access to stream, similar to all other applications, eg Sway, is essential!

Microsoft, You are doing it for Microsoft To-Do List in Mid-July 2020. Now do it for Microsoft Stream! It is really pointless for many non-profit groups that have people from a whole slew of domains that cannot see the videos without downloading them and then uploading them to YouTube. Alternatively you could make an on-line upload directly to YouTube button in the MS Stream site and that would work well too.

This really is a must!! We are seeing a number of our Schools, moving video streaming away from Stream and using third party systems like YouTube.

Would be a great plus when team meeting could be recorded for healthcare workers to view this in their little spare time.

A public stream link is a must have. an option to make the link password protected would also be nice.

Adding this capability to Stream would be a huge bonus in a University environment. Any chance of fast tracking it?
Use case would be directly linking to anonymous raw video file in H5P (in Moodle) rather than having to use YouTube or Vimeo, or direct upload.

With MS Teams Live event allowing public access to events, one would think we could save the event to "Microsoft Stream" and utilize the same way to allow public access.
I am looking for this option the quickest way possible.... I know Roadmap is Q4 but with everything going on now, I don't want to miss the opportunity by another product being used and what the users become familiar with, getting them to change to "MS Stream" will be very difficult.
Maybe at the very least allowing access to "MS Streams" permissions through "Guest Users" and provide a registration link. It may not give the ability to just post it on facebook and other social media, but it will allow for controlled access. It would be beneficial if you can have an option to request a name and email address, along with a few other optional fields to watch the Stream anyway.

More important than ever in the current situation. Jump the backlog like you have for Teams backgrounds and 3x3 view. Also there is another Uservoice item for this with an additional 264 votes https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/38435464-share-stream-videos-to-external-users

Would love to hear an update about this. This would be an extremely helpful feature for educational institutions right now. It would also go a long way towards creating buy-in for our school to use Stream in the future and not look outside the Microsoft environment for a good solution which I think is a win for our school and a win for Microsoft.

Agree with everyone here this is a critical feature. We have been forced to use an alternative solution in order to 'securely' share our internal videos with authorised guests.
Stream is actually a great product but let down completely by this one shortcoming - Anonymous access is not an equivalent or acceptable solution for my organisation -

I work for one of the large MPN partners in Norway for the SMB market, and I already see an increase in anonymous link access to Stream requests due to the recent corona-epidemic outbreak. Please review the timeline and consider pushing this ahead some of the more obscure features. The need for a secure video-platform is going to be more important than ever before after the current crisis.

MUST HAVE FEATURE !!!
Scenarios cover exclusive access for business partners collaborating with an organization using Guest (B2B) accounts:
Sharing internal videos published in Stream
Sharing meeting recordings (CRITICAL FEATURE)
Sharing internal video published in Teams channels (CRITICAL FEATURE) -

I created a feture request related to this I told on the previous post. To allow Stream and Live Events to RTMP push the content to other platforms (like Youtube and Facebook)
