Video editor (for name/description/language/permissions/options) needs to allow bulk operations
It is extremely tedious and time consuming to manage hundreds of video permissions individually, along with description/language/options/etc. We need a bulk video editor feature to be up to standards with other video streaming platforms.
As it exists today, it is only possible to "edit" 1 video at a time. This does not satisfy the needs our of company.

I have added this feature request to the 'new system' that Microsoft has linked from the Stream platform: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/b247466a-2bf3-ec11-a81b-000d3a00c008

I need to divide one to two, and I have 391 movies in it... As it is now I have to go into each movie an set the new channel. It is very timeconsuming, but what is making it even worse is that after each movie i have to start from the beginning of my list of movies... That is very frustrating, scrolling and scrolling and the futher down i get the longer it takes to update the site.

Stream is great but working with many videos is tedious. Bulk operations is a MUST to make Stream more usable. Please implement Bulk Operations.

Agree. Stream should have functionality that allows you to 'select' videos in order to perform the same action on multiple recordings at the same time; delete, share, add to channel, archive, etc.

I need to be able to: 1) manage all videos within a channel, not just each video separately; 2) move a channel from the main site to a group, and 3) change ownership for an entire channel. Can't believe this functionality isn't already built in.

This is a major problem for us in many ways (1) How can you protect IP of your own organization if you cannot change the owner of a video from the person who recorded it to an Admin group? (2) How is that you cannot set an org policy in the tool so that people, as defined by their group membership, cannot create/cannot load; etc., why is there no API? Right now, Streams is not a corporate level application...some roadmap / communications re the plan for this app would be nice, to start!

We're managing a series of videos and it's not time-effective to edit ownership of videos one by one. As well as making bulk changes to sharing permissions- clunky. Hope this gets attention as it's something that would help our team use this in lieu of other products.

Bulk edits for video permissions would be very helpful for company projects.

Just started looking into Stream and ran into this. Lack of such a basic feature (despite having been requested for 3+ years, from what I've seen in MS's techcommunity platform) tells me that this isn't a viable platform worth considering.

Almost 100% of our video are from meeting recordings. It's not possible to set the default permission to Company wide at the organization level, so instead I have to hunt down each owner of a video and stay on them until they at least share the video ownership with me so I can take it from there if they don't have time or interest in managing sharing and diffusion. This is defeating the purpose of having channels in stream and groups that reflect Teams/O365 structure

I like the suggestion for the UI to be like the SharePoint Quick Edit view. It's awful when you've been asked to archive a bunch of videos. Oh, and how about a one-click archive feature?

How is this still not a feature? WOW microsoft you really surprised me with this one! Please implement this feature ASAP there are a lot of frustrated users having to move 100s of videos one-by-one

I might suggest a property-editing PowerShell cmdlet. Or, functionality similar to the SharePoint document library "quick edit" view. Editing properties on several videos manually is merely tedious, but on dozens or hundreds? It's not practical. The several-second delays between every mouse click add up quickly while preventing smooth flow and concentration.

During COVID-19 this is even more insane!

Not having bulk actions seems insane to me.
