Allow Multiple folders within channels to organize streams for the viewers
Students looking at lists of streams can be overwhelmed. If we could organize them into folders by topic/chapter it would be easier for students to find what they are looking for.

Basic video streaming service concepts missing
Here are a few basic functions that would be incredibly helpful to have for tracking video progress and interactions with viewers:
Trend Reporting:
Average time viewed for videos
Growth over Time for views/likes (day, week, month)
Views over a 24 hour period (when the videos are watched during the day to plan for new content releases)Other recommendations:

Permissions - Add "request permission" link to "You do not have permission" message.
When one clicks stream-link, that he has no permission to, a "You do not have permission to this video" message appears.
However, there's no way to request permission from the video owner.I suggest to add link that enables requesting permission from video owner(s), similarly to SharePoint.

Allow students names to be alphabetical in Teams
Students are not currently alphabetical in the members page of Teams. There needs to be options for how to sort or at least just make it alphabetical. There seems to be no logic to the way it is currently organized which makes it difficult to find students.

Have embed links that work in Sharepoint without 3rd party cookies
Many people would enable 3rd party cookies even if their browser had the option to allow them from specific domains.
Solution could be as simple as having a Sharepoint option on the share menu that used a sharepoint.com domain in the src.22 votes -
When embedding a Microsoft Stream channel on a webpage, allow keyboard-only users to interact with the embedded media content
When embedding a Microsoft Stream channel on a webpage, allow keyboard-only users to interact with the embedded media content i.e. play, pause, like, comment and any other interactions available to other users. This will ensure a more equitable experience for people using keyboard-only navigation.

Allow video creator a list of people who have viewed the video
It would be helpful to know who has views the video I have created. In the education setting, this allows me to track participation and know how is missing out on critical content delivered asynchronously.

Stream assign retention
It would be great if the admins could assign retention periods to videos; or at least have an API to write a workflow to review videos for archival or deletion. Not my idea (orginal idea: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-stream-ideas/video-archival-and-retention/idi-p/88901) just adding it to user voice and casting my vote.

Microsoft Stream needs Playback speed options.
Allow the ability to playback slower and faster. Fast playback 1.25, 1.50 is useful for students.

Add permission settings to companywide channels to control who can add videos
When setting up companywide channels, it would be great to have the ability to set permissions as to what "all users" are able to do. For example, if we have a channel of marketing videos, it is not appropriate that any user in the company can add to the marketing videos channel. Only people in the Marketing AAD group should be able to add. Should also be able to set if viewers are able to download the original, add comments, or remove the video from the channel.

Quick view of viewers and likes
It's great to know how many people have viewed the video, but it would also be great if you could see who has watched the video, by hovering over the views button, I would like to know if students have actually viewed the video when they say they have without having to contact admin.

Add function to restrict video uploads on a per-channel basis
■Description(内容):
Microsoft Stream
In using Microsoft Stream, there is a risk that videos will be published with the wrong visibility settings since there is no way to restrict the upload of videos on a per-channel basis.
If it was possible to only allow channel members to view videos, and restrict the users who can upload videos to that channel, it would be possible to avoid such issues, given that we don’t want specified users to accidentally publish videos to all users.16 votes -
Recording audio only as a new create option
We have a great platform to start storing new kinds of documents that are coming more and more in the companies. Vlogs and Podcasts. These are new way to deliver informations and are more and more on demand in companies.
Storing Podcasts could be great cause we can very offently consider a teams meeting as just a podcast if there is nothing to show. Using ML we could easily extract keyphrases and we could propose to users to follow some keywords and download these 1 or 3 min around the keywords as a daily podcast. That would help in braking…33 votes -

Add a configuration item to block downloads
As of this writing, video uploaders and owners can download a video to devices that may be unmanaged by an organization. Videos containing sensitive content may be further disseminated to unauthorized parties. Suggest including a configurable option for administrators to block the downloading of video content.

OneDrive Stream recording needs ability to link to Stream Channel
As a user I need the ability to link recording on OneDrive to an existing Stream Channel.
With the move of Stream recordings from Teams meeting to OneDrive there is no longer an option to immediately link the recording to a Stream Channel. The user must first download and then upload the video to Stream in order to link to a Stream Channel.

Retain timestamp hyperlinks in updated version of Stream
In order to support sharing video guidance for processes, I benefit greatly from being able to send a video starting at a specific timestamp with others. I have not found a way to do that in the new version of Stream that is within SharePoint/OneDrive. It's very useful to allow people to click to certain parts of the video for this video guidance.

Stream Admins are able to upload videos without admin mode
Administrators are able to upload videos when admin mode is not enabled.
Better is that you must enable the admin mode. This behavior is really misleading.
