Group Alpha Site Index plus Pagination buttons
Since everyone is having issues with searching Groups, why not have an alpha-site-index or at least pagination at the bottom. I knew the group was name OneUK, but I had to click on "Show More" about 30 times just to get to it. If there was site index at the top or bottom paginations buttons I could have easily found the group I was looking for.

Video approval markers tool - similar to frame.io
When a video needs to be approved, it would be really nice if the people approving place some markers/locators (with time) in this video, so i could export them as a xml and import then in any editing software (Avid, Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve), and make any alteration needed. Frame.io is a tool that make this task, but i wonder if there is a tool in microsoft 365 that could do it.

Skip ahead or back
Add an option for skipping ahead or back by some short interval such as 15 or 30 seconds. Rather than trying to drag the progress bar forward or back, being able to quickly move in one direction or the other would be nice.

Show chapters/timestamps in progress bar
While you can add timestamps in the video description and they will be linked to that time in the video, it would be great if these would also show on the progress bar like the do on Youtube videos.

Allow Multiple Transcription File Formats
Currently, Stream only allows for .vtt transcription/subtitle format. The ability to upload other formats (.srt, .idx, .sub, etc.) would be hugely beneficial.

Search optimalization in Stream
I would like similar search functionality in Stream as in SharePoint/OneDrive. So that you can search on parts of a Word or Video title and still find it in the Results.
I my Education environment is that absolute necessary.

The video content is not protected. All uploaded content can be stolen.
Yes, the videos cannot be shared externally or downloaded, but it is very easy for students to use any external screen recording software. please find a solution to prevent screen recording.
Could you detect if a 3rd party screen recording software is being used, while video playback is happening on Streams? shortly; I want the privacy of content not to be indirectly violated within my educational institution.2 votes -
Add Share button to Embeded view
when you add/embed a channel to Teams you can't share a specific video with a user. You need to go to Streams and then to the channel to share a video. This could be easier when you have the option directly in Teams

Measure Engagement by showing how many started to watch the video compared to how many watched the video to the end.

Force Closed Captions on videos
Provide the ability to enable closed captions on videos automatically so users do not have to click the CC button to turn them on. This would be helpful in first line worker environments where they watch videos from systems on the manufacturing floor.

Dutch language transcription support
Please add Dutch (Netherlands) language support to Stream as the use of M365 in NL is quite high I believe. This would be especially useful considering how much it is being used for working from home.

autoplay videos in watch list
We'd like to be able to autoplay videos that are in a watch list instead of having to go to the watch list to click and watch each video.

Ability to tag video content in MS Stream
Please enble a feature that would allow channel owners to tag video content that would make the search feature more efficient.

Channel followers on MS Stream are emailed/alerted
Please enable a feature that will alert/email channel followers when new video content is added to the channel that they are following.

Easier permission management in Microsoft Stream
Currently managing permissions in Microsoft Stream is very time consuming and I have to constantly go in and out of each Stream video permission to change ownership. I would like an easier way of marking and changing permissions for multiple videos - both for ownership access as well as access to videos.

Add the option of keeping hotkeys consistent
Please add the option to have consistent keyboard shortcuts and not change them based on what the user recently clicked. For example, the f key won't work when pressing the play button with the mouse. Whatever the reason for this feature, make it optional because it's really annoying.

Extend edit privileges to Stream channel
As a companywide channel owner, I'd like to be able to extend edit privileges to other users so there is at least one other person who can edit that channel in my absence.
