  1. This feature was already created on technet.
We need to push a video from an external source to live streams.
The problem stream creates a new URL for every live event.
We neeed at least one fixed URL for each tenant.

It would be great to be possible to create a "Permanent Live Events" (with static ingest URL's). This feature could be called "Live Channels" or something like that.

This is userful to organizations that have some infrastracture of live stream with external codec and want to have a fixed channel to deliver content (like a traning channel ou…

  2. I've been using Microsoft Stream for quite a while. And, in the context of Nepal, doing very basic tasks like streaming and downloading the videos takes ages. Just in order to download a video faster, I have to use an Azure VM, download it there, upload it somewhere else like onedrive, close the VM and re-download the content in my device. It'd be great to have a faster access to stream from Nepal. Regarding my connectivity, I have a stable internet connection of 30 Mbps.

  3. I am using Stream now that we are recording Teams meetings, and one thing that annoys me constantly is that the video auto plays when I load the screen.

    Please stop it!

  4. Whilst the new feature allowing you to record your screen is a step in the right direction. Being able to "Select an area" of your screen rather than just "Whole Screen, Application or tab" would be beneficial.

Either that or the ability to crop your video in the editor.

  5. Teachers using the "SeeSaw" app are not able to use our internal videos on Stream in the SeeSaw app even when they embed them properly due to videos not viewable outside of the O365 platform.

  8. Provide some indicator that is obvious to the user that you have already watched the video....and allow user to resume where they left off if they started watching and were interrupted. Ensure this functionality is present in Teams channel integration as well..

  10. Please could we show the publish time alongside the date in the search results and the solo video page? This would help disambiguate videos when multiple videos of the same name are published on the same day.

  12. Similar to Teams, a suggestion to include eDiscovery features for Stream content, such as video transcriptions, comments, etc.

  13. Allow the user to select portions of Stream videos to be made into gifs. Often a .mp4 file is too cumbersome and large (for email, Teams meetings, etc.) so a 5 second gif could get the point across concisely and efficiently.

  14. At present, it seems only the person who uploaded the video, the main owner if you will, can download, upload, or edit transcripts. If other users are added as 'owner' surely, they should be able to do all this too?

  17. Microsoft Stream should have a tie in to MSFT live events like #MSIgnite.
You should be able to share your calendar to Stream and it should be able to let you watch events via Stream.
Even things like receive feedback, allow annotations and the like.

We would like to be able to change the sender from 'no-reply..." and the email itself.

  19. I get an alert that my organizations space is running out, but I don't have the ability to control how much data a user can upload. If users had a limit they would be more likely to consider if uploading a video is necessary, delete videos that are no longer needed, and edit down videos that are too long.
