    I'd say screen recording via browser will have functional limits compared to a screen recording software and thus likely not possible or too complex to implement selecting a part of the screen to be recorded (like in OBS), thus only screen, app or tab.

    However this could be a POST EDITING feature, to select that area afterwards or zoom in to highlight portions.
